Σαν πέρσι και μια μερα πριν - 04 Σεπτεμβρίου 2015 - οι τιτάνες Iron Maiden κυκλοφόρησαν τον 16ο , μα πρώτο τους διπλό δίσκο, με τίτλο "The Book Of Souls"
Το θυμάμαι σαν να ηταν πέρσι τέτοιον καιρό, να είμαι σπίτι αραχτός και να γεμίζω το usb στικάκι μου με κάποια νεα τραγούδια και βίντεο για να παίξω το βράδυ σε ενα rock bar ώσπου ( μάντεψε ποιος ) ο κολλητός μου με παίρνει τηλέφωνο και μου λέει... μαλάκα μπες στο ταδε site και κατέβαζε... το ανεβασανε......ΤΟ ΑΝΕΒΑΣΑΝΕ!!!
το ελέγξαμε απο 40 μεριές οτι είναι αυτό όντως κι όχι κανα μούφα, και ξεκίνησε για το σπίτι μου...
Είπαμε θα κάνουμε ακρόαση-κριτική τον νέο δίσκο...
Ήταν όμως τόσο ξαφνικό που δεν πρόλαβα να φορτώσω μπαταρίες για την κάμερα και μας άφησε στο πρώτο 15λεπτό... Υπάρχει μόνο ηχητικό ντοκουμέντο...
Ήρθε σπίτι με 10 μπύρες - χωρίς πατατάκια... που πα ρεεεεε - και αφού κοιτούσαμε κάθε 2 δευτερόλεπτα την οθόνη αν η ταχύτητα είναι σε υψηλά επίπεδα, αν απο 90.01% έγινε 90.02% το φόρτωμα του αρχείου, ένα ηλίθιο χαμόγελο μας είχε κολλήσει στο 99.9%............
Σκουπίσαμε χέρια, ιδρώτα απο το μέτωπο ( είχε ζέστα εκείνη την νύχτα ) πήραμε κάποιες βαθιές ανάσες..... και πατήσαμε το play....

Πριν περάσουμε στο ζουμί ( βιντεο στίχοι ) να πω πως στην κριτική που κάναμε με τον κολλητό μου, να πω την αλήθεια πως ήμασταν σκληροί απέναντί του στην πρώτη ακρόαση, αλλά το ένστικτο ήταν αλάθητο στο ποια τραγούδια ξεχώρισαν...
Με το που ακούσαμε το If Eternity Should Fail το πρώτο πράγμα που είχαμε στο νου μας, ήταν να το ζήσουμε αυτό στο τραγούδι σε συναυλία...
Ήταν τόση μεγάλη η προσμονή, η καύλα για αυτό το τραγούδι, η περιπέτεια του Dickinson με τον καρκίνο, τα χιλιόμετρα που κάναμε μαζί μετά απο χρόνια για να δούμε ξανα δίπλα δίπλα συναυλία των Maiden... που όταν ξεκίνησε η συναυλία με το Eternity... μας πιάσανε τα κλάματα...
Μια κοπέλα δίπλα μου, για μερικά δευτερόλεπτα κοιτούσε εμένα να κλαίω σαν μικρό κορίτσι χωρίς να μπορεί να κάνει κάτι για να με παρηγορήσει...
